Security

In February 1994, we concluded a major contract to provide catering and support services to QATARGAS LNG Project in Ras Laffan when it was barely a remote site operation. Security service was one of the various business activities that Teyseer Services Company was responsible for.

By any standards, QATARGAS Project was one of the largest LNG projects in the world with multinational workforce of over 8,500 strong. Starting from a rather modest base in Ras Laffan - we covered a ground area of about 94 square km consisting LNG plant, port areas, modular roads, accommodation camps, sea water intake areas inlcuding temporary access road stretching 35km.

Our performance and safety records are well recognized by the Government and Chiyoda Corporation of Japan. The Chiyoda Safety Award and 14 million ‘safe work hours’ without any loss time accident from Brown & Root Q-Chemical Project are the testimonies of our dedication and professionalism.

Over the years, we have developed from strength to strength meeting our commitments and objectives in a spirit of true workmanship manner.  We continue to excel in a number of areas and most recently; we were awarded a contract in Landmark Shopping Mall and its anchor stores.

We firmly believe that the role of security has diversified over the years and the concept of “watchman” is dead and gone!  In keeping up with these standards we invest heavily in the training & development of our guards to ensure that their drive, enthusiasm and efficiency continue to contribute and meet the variable demands of our clients. Our guards are therefore well trained to create accident free workplace, combat crimes, prevent fire, and reduce financial loss.  They are recruited from various backgrounds; military and civil defence being the main selection criterion.  These provide our clients with an access to a unique security service.  Our security department is led by an ex-Gurkha Officer from the British Army (The Brigade of Gurkhas) with full-fledged management and logistic support to back up any security projects in Qatar. We are also ISO 9001 certified and licensed to operate security services in Qatar - a privilege seldom enjoyed by several other similar firms!

Over a period of time we have built an enviable list of clients ranging from oil & gas industries, shopping Malls to the U.S. Army.  This diversity has assisted us in applying techniques developed for one sector across many others, which supports to add the value for our clients.  Nobody works harder to anticipate our clients’ needs than we do.  It is that understanding which forms the bedrock of our clients’ continued satisfaction and our own success.

Our offer

Our maintenance strategy aims at meeting our clients' short and long term goals by managing efficiently their equipment and human resources. We implement a Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program to ensure a systematic control over key equipment, thus minimizing down time and operational cost.

We offer a single point of contact, which enables our clients to focus on their core business. Our objective is to manage and supervise our own technical staff, and/or the staff of local service providers selected jointly with our client.

Additionally, we use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to record equipment history and to plan maintenance tasks. We select and operate the maintenance program that matches our client's needs.

Our customized, detailed and regular reports allow clients to monitor the progress of our maintenance contracts.
